Tommy Wiseau is an American actor, writer and filmmamker. He is famous for directing the 2003 film "The Room".

Early Life Edit

He claims to have grown up in New Orleans, Louisiana, and to have traveled back and forth to the US and Europe. He also has said he grew up in a communist Eastern Europe, and moved to Strasbourg. Wiseau said he adopted the name of Pierre there, and became a resteraunt dishwasher. He moved to San Francisco, where he changed his name to Tommy Pierre Wiseau. Years later, Greg Sestero received Wiseau's immigration papers from his brother's girlfriend. He found out he was actually born in the 50s, even though Wiseau stated he was born in the 60s. Also, it said he was born in the Eastern Bloc.
